Delete your Zgjedhja Ime account

This page explains how to request deletion of your account and the data linked to it in the Zgjedhja Ime app and on zgjedhjaime.com. The request is free and you do not need to give a reason.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to support@zgjedhjaime.com with the subject "Fshij llogarinë" (Delete account).
2. Send it from the email address of your account, or include the phone number registered on your account so we can confirm it is you.
3. Say whether you want your whole account deleted, or only some data (for example your saved searches, an inquiry, or a listing) while keeping the account.

You will get a confirmation within 7 days, and the deletion is completed within 30 days of that confirmation.

What is deleted

• Your account: email, name, phone number, password hash, language preference, saved homes and saved searches.
• Inquiries and contact messages you sent, including your name, phone and email in them.
• Listings you published as a landlord, including the photos you uploaded.
• Your tenant profile (budget, preferred areas, notes).

What is kept, and for how long

• Invoices, signed agreements and closed-deal records, when there are any: 5 years, as required by Albanian tax and accounting law. They are kept only with the minimum data the law requires.
• Server access and error logs that may contain your IP address: rotated after 30 days.
• Encrypted backups: your data disappears from them within 60 days, when the old backups expire.

Deleting data without closing the account

You can ask us to delete only part of your data (an inquiry, a listing, your saved searches) and keep the account. Use the same email address and say which data you mean.
