Zero-commission rentals in Tirana: how it works, why it's legitimate
"0% commission for owners, always" — that line appears on every listing on our platform. It raises an obvious question: if owners don't pay a commission, who pays the platform?
The answer is simple, transparent, and written into our terms — most people don't read terms. Here's the full breakdown.
Two revenue sources
1. Tenants pay once, only after success
When a tenant moves into a home found through us, we invoice 50% of the first month's rent — one time, not monthly. Compare to traditional agencies that charge 100% from the tenant AND 100% from the landlord: our model is 4× cheaper for the tenant.
2. Future paid placement (optional)
We're planning optional paid placements for owners who want to rank higher (not by hiding others — just a clear "vip" tag). Always optional, always visible. Never affects the 0% owner rule.
What about partner agencies?
Some listings come from partner real-estate agencies: they bring the property, we find the tenant and manage the process — no fee on their side, at all. It isn't a revenue source for us; it's simply how we grow inventory. Terms are set through a direct agreement, after a conversation.
How much do owners save annually?
Real example: 1+1 in Komuna e Parisit, €500/month.
Traditional agency: 1 month's rent (€500) per new tenant. If the property turns once a year, that's €500 hidden cost per year.
Zgjedhja Ime: €0. Always. Regardless of tenant churn.
